Website Maintenance included in every plan, by the people who built the site

Maintenance is not a package you buy after the website. It is part of every website plan from £189 a month: hosting, SSL, speed checks, edits on request, brand polish and the monthly SEO, done from Bury St Edmunds by the same people who built the pages, for businesses across Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. If your site lives somewhere else today, it moves onto a plan, or you take a Custom build and own it outright.

Built and looked after by the same people, wherever you are

Most agencies that offer maintenance did not build the site they are maintaining, so every fix starts with someone working out how the last person did it. We only look after sites we build or have moved onto Webflow ourselves, which means the person checking your Core Web Vitals in March is the person who set them in January. CMS structure, interactions, breakpoints, code embeds and the Webflow specific SEO settings are all things we handle because they are how we work every day, not a sideline. For a dentist in Bury St Edmunds it means 1 phone number for everything to do with the site, and nobody saying it must have been the other agency.

Speed and Core Web Vitals checked every month, not just at launch

Page speed decides both conversion rate and rankings, and it decays if nobody watches it. A photo uploaded straight from the phone, a supplier's booking widget, a font added for a promotion, and 6 months on the page that loaded in under 2 seconds takes 4. Every month we run Core Web Vitals across your key pages, watch page weight as content is added, review image compression and look for anything new that has started misbehaving. Where a score has slipped we fix the cause rather than reporting it and waiting for you to action it, because you have a business to run and that is what the plan is for. Performance is not a launch day number. It needs keeping.

Maintenance is included in every plan from £189 a month

There are no maintenance tiers, because there is no version of a website that should be left to rot. Starter from £189 a month, Business from £249 and Market Leader from £329 all include the same care: hosting and SSL, uptime monitoring, monthly speed checks, form testing, broken link repair, text edits and image swaps on request, brand polish, and the monthly SEO with its ranking report. The only thing that changes between the plans is how many towns and services you cover, from 6 services across 6 towns on Starter to 12 across 14 on Market Leader. Nothing upfront, no setup fee, 12 month minimum, then it rolls monthly, and the price you sign at holds for life.

Text edits and image swaps on request, with no hours to count

Send the change through and it gets made. The new price list, the apprentice who has joined, the van with the new livery, the Christmas opening hours. You do not learn the CMS, you do not troubleshoot Webflow and you do not break anything by accident, and there is no monthly allowance of hours being counted down and rolled over. Larger changes that come out of the keyword research, a new service page or a new town, are built as part of the plan too: if they take you past your allowance it is £20 a month for an extra service or £15 for an extra town, agreed first. Most requests are turned round within 1 to 2 working days, urgent ones the same day.
Illustration: CRM and Automation, £125 a month, a pipeline that gets used

1 ranking report a month, including what we changed

Every month you get 1 written report in plain English. Where each page ranks for its search and what moved. The edits we made and the fixes we caught, the form that had stopped sending, the image that was slowing the homepage. Technical health, uptime, anything Search Console flagged. And the plan for next month, including any new pages the research has found. We put anything that needs your attention at the top rather than burying it in a dashboard you never check. The point of having someone look after the site is not having to think about it, and a report you can trust in 5 minutes is how that is earned. Same report on every plan, because every plan gets the same work.
Illustration: Growth Systems Retainer from £995 a month runs the lot

Upgrade any time, +£20 a month per extra service

Maintenance is the floor, not the ceiling. As the business grows the website grows with it, and the mechanism for that is the research rather than a request form. Every month we look at the searches people in your towns are making, and when one turns up that you have no page for, with real volume and a page 1 you can win, we build it. An accountant in Ipswich who started on Starter with 6 services across 6 towns might find within the year that Felixstowe and Woodbridge are sending enquiries and payroll deserves its own pages. An extra service is £20 a month, an extra town £15, or you move up to Business or Market Leader whenever the allowance no longer fits, and the signed price on what you already have never changes.

Maintenance that comes with the plan, for sites that matter to your business

A website is a commercial asset and it wears. Slow pages cost customers. Broken forms cost enquiries. A page with last year's prices makes the business look unwatched. Most websites also have a bigger problem that no amount of maintenance fixes: they have 1 page per service. An accountant has a page called Payroll and that is it. Nobody searches for payroll. They search for payroll services Ipswich, or accountant Bury St Edmunds, or bookkeeper near me from a phone in Stowmarket. If the site has no page for that town, Google shows a competitor. So the plan does both jobs. Before we write a word we do the keyword research, which towns, which services, how many searches a month, who holds page 1, and we build a page for every service in every town that can win: 6 services across 6 towns is 36 searches with a page each. Then we look after every one of those pages, month after month, for the same fee. Hosting, SSL, speed, edits, brand polish, the monthly SEO and 1 report. Built and maintained by the same people, in Bury St Edmunds, on a 12 month plan that rolls monthly afterwards.

Upkeep is not sold separately

Looking after the website is part of the plan, not a bolt-on.

Hosting, SSL, technical health, backups and the day to day edits sit with us for as long as you are on a plan. That is true on the smallest plan and the largest one, so the figure you sign at is the figure you pay.

What upkeep actually means here

Not a checklist emailed once a quarter. The site is watched, fixed and kept current as part of the monthly.

  • Speed and Core Web Vitals kept in check
  • Broken links, forms and tracking caught early
  • Content and price changes made when you ask

Why sites go stale

A website nobody touches slips down the results within a year, then gets blamed for not bringing work in. Upkeep is what stops that quietly happening.

  • Pages refreshed as the research changes
  • New pages added while the site is live

If you already have a site elsewhere

We can look at what you have and tell you honestly whether it is worth keeping, moving or rebuilding.

  • No obligation, and no pressure to rebuild

Our Maintenance Process

A structured approach to keeping your site working properly.

Audit & Discovery

If we built the site, it is on a plan from launch and the baseline is already ours. If we are taking on a site built elsewhere, we move it onto Webflow first, with redirects from every old URL so the rankings you have survive, then run the keyword research to see which towns and services you have no page for, set up monitoring, Search Console and analytics in your name, and record a technical baseline. The output is a page list, a list of fixes for the first month, and a clear picture of where every page stands.

Monthly Checks

Every month we run a full pass across the site. Core Web Vitals are checked on the key pages. Forms are tested on desktop and on a phone to make sure they submit and land in the right inbox. Broken links are found and fixed. Image weight is reviewed. New pages are checked for their schema, title and internal links. Anything that has slipped since last month is flagged and put right, and the rankings for every page in the coverage matrix are recorded ready for the report.

Updates & Edits

Text edits and image swaps are included in every plan, with no hours to count. Send the change by email or through the shared list and it is made, usually within 1 to 2 working days, same day when it is urgent. Bigger changes, a new section, a new service page, a new town, come out of the keyword research: if there is a search worth winning we build the page, and if it takes you past your allowance it is £20 a month per extra service or £15 per extra town, agreed before we build it.

Monthly Reporting

Every month you receive 1 written report covering where each page ranks for its search, what moved, the edits and fixes made, technical health and uptime, links and citations gained, how visible you are in AI search, and the plan for next month. It is written to be read, focused on what earns you enquiries, and free of padding. Where we need something from you, a photo, a decision on a new town, we say so clearly at the top with the reason and the next step.

Quarterly Strategic Review

Every 12 weeks we sit down with you and look at the longer trend: which pages are winning, which towns are sending enquiries, what the conversion rate looks like, and what has changed in the business that the website should reflect. The keyword research is rerun against that, and the coverage matrix is adjusted, a town added here, a service retired there, or a move up to the next plan if the allowance is now too small. It is how a plan stays useful over years rather than becoming a standing order nobody questions.

Futureproofs web design is a pleasure to work with. Luke exceeded my expectations with the new Grooming Gorgeous website and really took the time to understand my business, our brand and what I wanted the website to achieve. He managed to capture everything I had envisioned and bring it all together even better than I had imagined.

Grooming Gorgeous

Could not recommend FutureProofs enough if you’re looking for a web design and SEO team who actually get how sites need to work now, including ranking in AI search, not just Google. We handed over some genuinely messy sites and they sorted them out properly, fast turnaround, no fuss.

Sam D'Arcy

FutureProofs built the new website for my construction business Fowler Construction and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm a builder, not a computer person, and he made the whole thing easy. He took the time to understand the work I actually want to win, wrote all the content for me, and the finished site looks proper high end.

Jake Fowler · Fowler Construction

We engaged Future Proofs to support the build of our new website, and the experience has been consistently positive from the outset. There was a clear effort to understand not just the visual aspect, but how the brand should be represented more broadly. Communication has been straightforward throughout, with updates and changes handled quickly.

Jonathan · Latent Intelligence

We worked with FutureProofs to launch our website for Suffolk Clearances, and the results have exceeded expectations. He also set up our Google Business Profile correctly from day one, and within just one month we are already ranking on the first page of Google for key local search terms.

We worked with Futureproofs on our coffee shop website and menu design and couldn’t be happier with the result. Luke was brilliant to work with — really easy to communicate with, took the time to understand our brand, and delivered exactly what we were hoping for. The website looks clean and modern, and the menu design has had loads of great feedback already.

Elliott Jackson · Suffolk Garden Maintenance

Our old site was a right bodge - slow, not great on mobiles, and no one could find the number to ring. Futureproofs gave it a proper overhaul in Webflow, sorted the content, and put clear buttons for services and quotes. We’re getting more of the right enquiries now they tidied up the Google SEO bits too. Straight talk, delivered when they said they would, and did a tidy job.

Questions

What owners ask about looking after the site.

The upkeep is part of every plan, so these are the questions that come up once the site is live.

Is website maintenance a separate cost?

No. Hosting, SSL, monitoring, technical health, small text edits and image swaps are all inside the monthly plan, whichever plan you are on. There is no maintenance retainer to buy on top and no hourly rate for the everyday changes a business needs.

How quickly are changes made?

Small changes, a new phone number, a price update, a swapped photo or a new team member, are normally turned around within a working day or 2. Bigger changes such as a new section or a new page are planned into the monthly work, and if it is a new service or town page it comes out of the research anyway.

What do you actually monitor?

Uptime, page speed, Core Web Vitals, broken links, form submissions arriving where they should, the SSL certificate, and the technical checks Google runs in Search Console. If something breaks at 2am you are not the one who finds out about it.

Can I edit the site myself?

Yes. Webflow's editor lets you change text and images without touching the design, and the AI Setup Session shows you how to do it confidently if you want to handle the small stuff in house. Most owners find it easier to send the change to us, and both are fine.

What about security and backups?

Webflow hosting runs on enterprise infrastructure with automatic backups and no plugins to patch, which removes the single biggest cause of hacked small business sites. We keep a versioned copy of every page so anything can be rolled back.

Do you look after sites you did not build?

Upkeep is part of a website plan, so it applies to sites we build. If you have an existing site you want looked after, the usual route is to move it onto a plan, which rebuilds it properly and puts the maintenance, hosting and SEO inside one monthly number.
