Station Styles

2 Webflow sites for a Suffolk dog and cat grooming family

Station Styles grooms dogs and cats at 2 salons, Needham Market and Stowmarket, and FutureProofs moved it off a Wix template onto 2 Webflow sites, one for each town, with prices by dog size and a page for every service.

Overview

A grooming salon that grew into a second town.

Georgie started grooming at 14 and opened Station Styles in Needham Market, the original salon, where every pet is groomed one to one in a calm room with parking outside. The Stowmarket salon followed as the second branch, run by Chloe Burch, who trained under Georgie more than 10 years ago.

Both salons groom every size and breed, from puppies on their first visit to giant Newfoundlands, and both are known locally for their patience with nervous dogs and cats. The original website was a Wix template, and with a second salon opening it needed replacing.

The Challenge

A clunky Wix site, and a second salon on the way.

The Needham Market salon was on a Wix template that was clunky to use and hard to keep up to date, and a second salon was about to open in Stowmarket. A pet owner in Stowmarket searching for a dog groomer wants a salon in Stowmarket, not one mentioned halfway down a page about Needham Market, so each town needed a site of its own.

Grooming is also a nervous booking for a lot of owners. They want to see the salon, know who will be handling their dog and know roughly what it will cost before they pick up the phone, so the new sites had to answer all of that on the first visit.

What We Did

Needham Market first, then Stowmarket built from it.

We built the Needham Market site first, then duplicated it and tailored every page for the new Stowmarket salon, so each town has its own homepage, about page, prices, FAQs and blog, written for the people searching there. The 2 sites link to each other in the menu, so a customer who lands on the wrong salon is one click from the right one.

Prices by dog size, and the team by name.

The services page lists every groom with its price, split into small, medium, large and extra large dogs, from a bath and blow dry to hand stripping, plus cat grooming and the extras like nail trims and ear cleans. The about pages introduce Georgie, Chloe and the team, so owners know who is looking after their pet before the first appointment.

The Design

Soft pink, mint green and dogs mid leap.

The sites are as cheerful as the salons: soft pink and mint green, rounded cards, and cut out photos of dogs and cats framed in circles of colour, with a spaniel caught mid leap in the hero. Underneath sits a gallery of real grooms from the salon tables, testimonials from local owners and a Book now button that stays in the menu on every page. On a phone the layout stacks cleanly, because that is where most owners will find it.

Ongoing Partnership

2 sites looked after month to month.

We look after both sites after launch, keeping the prices, pages and blog up to date and the technical side in good order. Georgie tells us the salons have had more online enquiries since the new sites went live, and that customers say it is easier to find what they need.

This project covered 2 Webflow sites for a dog and cat groomer in Needham Market and Stowmarket: a Wix rebuild, prices by dog size and a homepage for each town. Our websites for dog services page shows the approach, and web design in Stowmarket shows it closer to home.

I cannot recommend FutureProofs highly enough. From the initial concept to the full development of our eCommerce store, they have been outstanding every step of the way. The ongoing SEO support has been instrumental in helping my business grow.

Our old site was a right bodge - slow, not great on mobiles, and no one could find the number to ring. Futureproofs gave it a proper overhaul in Webflow, sorted the content, and put clear buttons for services and quotes. We’re getting more of the right enquiries now they tidied up the Google SEO bits too. Straight talk, delivered when they said they would, and did a tidy job. Cheers, lads - would recommend.

Futureproofs rebuilt our website from a clunky Wix template into a clean, fast Webflow site that looks great on any device. They launched Needham Market first, then duplicated and tailored it for our new Stowmarket branch. Since launch we’ve had more online enquiries, customers say it’s easier to find what they need, and we’re now naturally ranking on google for services we struggled with before across Suffolk.
