Blend is an independent coffee shop and wine bar in the historic centre of Bury St Edmunds. By day it is a stylish stop for locals and visitors looking for proper coffee, and by evening it shifts into a relaxed wine bar with the same easy character. Our partnership began long before the doors opened, when Blend was still finding its visual voice.

We were commissioned in the pre launch phase to shape the brand, design the assets and build the website that would introduce Blend to the town. From the logo and menus through to the Webflow site and local search presence, every touchpoint was crafted to feel authentically Blend and unmistakably part of Bury St Edmunds.

The Challenge

Launching a new independent in a town that already has its favourites.

Opening a coffee shop and wine bar in the centre of Bury St Edmunds means stepping into a market full of much loved independents. Blend needed a brand and a digital presence that could earn attention from day one, with the polish to stand out and the warmth to invite people in.

We were brought in before the venue had opened, which meant every brand decision had to be made with no real world reference points. The look, the feel, the voice and the online presence all needed to come together cleanly for launch day, ready to greet the very first customers.

We refined the visual identity from the ground up, designing the logo, menus and supporting assets that customers now see across the venue. Every choice was made with the historic town centre setting in mind, balancing contemporary character with a warmth that suits the space.

A Webflow website built to rank where it matters.

Once the brand was in place, we built Blend a Webflow website that introduces the venue, the menu and the experience in one elegant flow. Local SEO was a particular focus, and the site now sits at the top of search results for coffee shops in Bury St Edmunds, sending a steady stream of new customers through the door.
