They need an active website plan, from £189 a month, or a Custom build underneath them. That is deliberate rather than a sales rule: a lead follow up system with no enquiries to follow up, or a content system feeding a site with 1 page per service, would be taking your money for nothing.

For a business that wants everything run together, the Growth Systems Retainer is from £995 a month on a 3 month initial term and covers all 4 systems, 1 monthly conversation and 1 report, with the systems built to pass work between each other rather than sitting in separate tools.

If you are not a client and want to start somewhere, the AI Setup Session is £495 for 4 hours, in person in Bury St Edmunds or online, and it is the only thing we sell to businesses that are not on a plan. We will always point you at the rung of the ladder that makes sense for you, and for most businesses that is 1 system first, usually lead follow up.

What is a growth system and how does it differ from regular marketing?

A growth system is an automated workflow that handles a specific marketing or sales task without ongoing manual input. Regular marketing depends on people doing tasks repeatedly. Growth systems remove the dependency on people doing tasks at all.

The classic example is lead follow up. Regular marketing means somebody on your team checking enquiries throughout the day, replying when they have time, scheduling follow ups, sending reminders and chasing leads who go quiet. The work is real, valuable and time consuming. It also depends entirely on someone having the time and attention to do it consistently. A growth system handles the same work automatically. New enquiries trigger an immediate response within minutes, qualifying questions are sent if needed, calendar links are offered, follow ups are scheduled automatically if no response comes back and warm leads are nurtured through email sequences until they convert or unsubscribe. A typical Lead Follow Up System runs like this. Week 1 is discovery and design, working through your sales process, the messages in your voice and the tools it needs to talk to. Week 2 is the build, configuring the platforms, writing the sequences and connecting the integrations. Week 3 is testing with real looking enquiries, fixing anything that misfires and walking your team through it, and it goes live at the end of week 3 or early in week 4.

CRM and Automation usually takes 3 to 5 weeks, because it depends on how many stages your sales process has and how many tools need connecting. The AI Content System takes 2 to 4 weeks, most of it on the brand voice and the review steps. The Review Growth System is usually live within 2 weeks, because the workflow is similar from 1 business to the next.

We agree the dates in the discovery session and keep to them, and because the fee is monthly rather than a project invoice, the first month is billed on signature and the build is part of it. Going live is the beginning, not the end: the monthly work of running, tuning and reporting on the system starts that day.

What platforms do you build growth systems on?

We build growth systems across whichever platforms make commercial sense for your business and your existing tool stack. We are not locked into one platform and we will recommend whatever combination delivers the best outcome for your specific situation.

For automation orchestration we typically use Make, Zapier or n8n depending on complexity, integration requirements and budget. Make is our preferred platform for most builds because the visual workflow editor is more powerful than Zapier and the cost per operation is significantly lower at scale. Zapier remains the right choice for simple workflows with broad integration requirements. n8n is ideal for clients who want self hosted automation and full control.

For CRM we work with HubSpot, Pipedrive, Go High Level, Notion and others depending on what fits the business. HubSpot suits established businesses with sales and marketing alignment requirements. Pipedrive works well for sales focused operations. Go High Level fits agencies and service businesses with multi channel marketing needs. Notion based CRMs work for small teams that want flexibility and lower cost.

For email and SMS we use ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Brevo, Customer.io or built in CRM email tools depending on the use case. For SMS specifically we work with Twilio and platform native SMS where available.

For the AI Content System we use the leading commercial AI models and choose whichever gives the best result for the job in hand. We do not tie the system to 1 provider and we do not name the model on the site, because it changes, and because what matters is the brand voice, the review steps and the results, not the engine underneath.

For booking and scheduling we work with Calendly, Cal.com, SavvyCal and platform native scheduling tools. For payments and invoicing we integrate with Stripe, GoCardless and similar.

We will recommend the right platform mix during discovery based on what you already use, what you need the system to do and what your budget allows. The goal is the right tool for each part of the system, not a one size fits all approach.

Will the system integrate with my existing CRM and tools?

If you use a tool we have not worked with before, we will check during discovery whether integration is straightforward, requires custom development or is genuinely impossible. Most platforms with public APIs are workable. A small minority of older or proprietary tools have closed APIs and require workarounds.

In some cases we may recommend changing one of your existing tools because it is genuinely limiting what the system can achieve. We will be clear about why and what the alternative would offer. Tool changes are always optional and always justified by clear commercial benefit.

Do I need technical knowledge to use these systems?

No. We build growth systems specifically to be operated by non technical users. The technical complexity sits in the build phase. The day to day operation should be straightforward for anyone in your team who needs to interact with the system.

Most clients only need to interact with growth systems in a few specific ways after handover. Reviewing reporting dashboards to see how the system is performing. Adding or updating message templates as your offers and services change. Adjusting automation rules occasionally as your business evolves. Onboarding new team members to the parts of the system they need to use.

Growth systems projects work effectively remotely because the deliverables are entirely digital. Discovery sessions, system design reviews, build progress updates, testing reviews and training sessions all happen over video call. Documentation is shared digitally. Platform access is configured remotely. There is no part of the build process that requires in person presence.

The process from there runs as follows. A free discovery call of 45 to 60 minutes covers how the business operates, the tools you already use, where enquiries come from and where they go quiet, and what you need the system to produce. We then send a written scope showing what we recommend building, how it will work, which platforms it will use, the go live date and the fixed monthly fee. Once that is agreed and signed, the first month is billed and the design work begins, with the full workflow mapped before any platform is configured.

For most growth systems we move from first enquiry to the build starting within 1 to 2 weeks. Discovery in the first week, scope and signature in the second, then design and build over the following 2 to 4 weeks depending on the system, with the dates in writing.
