AI visibility across Suffolk for businesses that cover the county, not one town

From the A14 corridor to the villages off the A12, we look after the pages, listings and reviews that assistants read when someone asks who to use, checked every month, from £189 a month.

Google5.05 stars on Google

A cottage near Woolpit asks ChatGPT who empties septic tanks

A septic tank alarm goes off in a cottage outside Woolpit, and the owner asks ChatGPT: who empties septic tanks in Mid Suffolk, today if possible? The assistant names 2 or 3 firms, picked from what it can find and trust: a page answering that exact question, the yard address identical on every listing, reviews that mention the job and the village, other sites that mention the firm. A contractor with one page called Services, tank emptying, drain unblocking and treatment plants in one list, gives it nothing to quote. We build pages it can quote, make your facts match everywhere it looks and get the firm mentioned where it reads. Monthly, we ask that question and show you if the firm was named.

Tank emptying in Ixworth and drains in Haughley are 2 answers

Across a county this size, the page for every service in every town is what makes a business quotable. An assistant asked who unblocks drains in Haughley wants a page about drains in Haughley, not a county wide Services page hoping to cover it. So we do the keyword research first, which services, which towns and villages, how many people search and who's already showing up, then build a page for each combination that can win. 5 services across 12 places is 60 pages, each one an answer an assistant could repeat. The web design page for Suffolk explains the build, and the SEO page for Suffolk covers the rankings on the same pages.

Suffolk asks by region: West Suffolk, Mid Suffolk, Suffolk wide

People here describe where they are by region as often as by town. A farm near the A14 says Mid Suffolk, a business out towards Newmarket says West Suffolk. Plenty of others just say Suffolk wide. Assistants are asked the same way, so the llms.txt, the schema and the pages have to carry both the towns and the way people round them describe the area. Farming and sugar beet bring their own questions, about drainage, machinery and land. The Port of Felixstowe pulls freight and logistics firms along the A14 with it. A Suffolk business needs pages written for the questions its own corner of the county asks, not one page for everywhere.

A Suffolk firm with 3 old addresses online confuses every assistant

County wide firms collect old listings: the yard you had before, the mobile number a former manager used, the directory that spelled the name differently. Each one makes an assistant less certain which version is true, and an uncertain assistant tends to name somebody else. So we find them and put them right. The name, address, phone and hours match on the website, Google Business Profile, Bing Places and Apple Business Connect, and across the directories. Bing gets real attention, because ChatGPT's search draws heavily on it. Then every month we check nothing has drifted, which matters for a Suffolk business with vans out across the county.

Suffolk Garden Maintenance shows the method, not a ChatGPT claim

The work closest to this page is for a Suffolk business that also covers a lot of ground. Suffolk Garden Maintenance came to us as a gardener, and we reimagined it as a high end estate specialist, with a brand and a Webflow site to match. Every site we build, that one included, gets the same foundations: pages that say plainly what the business does and where, schema, a Google Business Profile in line with the website, and an llms.txt. We won't claim an assistant recommends it, because answers change and we'd need proof. What it shows is the standard, kept up month after month. See the Suffolk Garden Maintenance work.

Each month we ask about Suffolk towns from Lowestoft to Haverhill

Once a month we put your customers' questions to the assistants, town by town: who empties septic tanks near Sudbury, who unblocks drains in Felixstowe, a reliable drainage firm in Mid Suffolk. We ask Perplexity, Copilot and ChatGPT, and check Google's AI Mode, then note whether you're named, what's said about you and who's named instead, place by place. Across a county the answers vary from one town to the next, so the report shows where you're strong, where someone else has the edge and what we're changing. It sits alongside your Google rankings in one plain English report from the same team in Bury St Edmunds.

AI search optimisation for Suffolk businesses whose customers say West Suffolk, Mid Suffolk or just Suffolk

Suffolk businesses rarely work in one town. A drainage firm might be in a field near Haughley on Monday and a new estate in Stowmarket on Tuesday, and its customers describe where they are in their own way: West Suffolk, near Ipswich, just off the A14. More and more of them ask ChatGPT or Google's AI Mode who to call rather than scrolling through results. GEO, short for generative engine optimisation, is the work that gets an assistant to name your business when someone in the county asks who to use. Ranked on Google. Recommended by AI. Every plan includes SEO and AI visibility work together, so a Suffolk business shows up in Google's results and gets named when people ask ChatGPT who to use. It's run from our studio on King's Road in Bury St Edmunds, from £189 a month.

How many pages does a Suffolk website need?

An electrician working Stowmarket and Felixstowe needs to know which of rewires, EICRs and EV chargers people search for in each town, rather than one page called Services. The research decides which of those pairings get a page.

  • 1Keyword research comes first, so we know which services and which towns people are actually searching for, how often, and who currently holds those results.
  • 2We design and build the site on Webflow, then build pages for the service and town pairings the research says are worth going after.
  • 3Every month after that we keep working on it: new pages as the research finds them, pages pushed up the results, and a report showing where you rank. The SEO and the AI visibility work are in the price.

Move the sliders to see which plan fits. Page counts here are an illustration; the research decides which pages get built, so nothing gets made that cannot win.

Starter£189/ month

6 services × 6 towns = 36 targeted pages

56 illustrative pages in total.

Futureproofs web design is a pleasure to work with. Luke exceeded my expectations with the new Grooming Gorgeous website and really took the time to understand my business, our brand and what I wanted the website to achieve. He managed to capture everything I had envisioned and bring it all together even better than I had imagined.

Grooming Gorgeous

Could not recommend FutureProofs enough if you’re looking for a web design and SEO team who actually get how sites need to work now, including ranking in AI search, not just Google. We handed over some genuinely messy sites and they sorted them out properly, fast turnaround, no fuss.

Sam D'Arcy

FutureProofs built the new website for my construction business Fowler Construction and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm a builder, not a computer person, and he made the whole thing easy. He took the time to understand the work I actually want to win, wrote all the content for me, and the finished site looks proper high end.

Jake Fowler · Fowler Construction

We engaged Future Proofs to support the build of our new website, and the experience has been consistently positive from the outset. There was a clear effort to understand not just the visual aspect, but how the brand should be represented more broadly. Communication has been straightforward throughout, with updates and changes handled quickly.

Jonathan · Latent Intelligence

Luke was brilliant to work with — really easy to communicate with, took the time to understand our brand, and delivered exactly what we were hoping for. The website looks clean and modern, and the menu design has had loads of great feedback already.

Elliott Jackson · Suffolk Garden Maintenance

Our old site was a right bodge - slow, not great on mobiles, and no one could find the number to ring. Futureproofs gave it a proper overhaul in Webflow, sorted the content, and put clear buttons for services and quotes. We’re getting more of the right enquiries now they tidied up the Google SEO bits too. Straight talk, delivered when they said they would, and did a tidy job.
