A Suffolk Webflow agency explains who owns your site after the 12-month minimum, what moving it costs (£250 one-off) and when leaving is the wrong call.

After the 12-month minimum, FutureProofs moves your whole site into your own Webflow account for a one-off £250. You own it outright from then on.
Picture a heating firm owner in Haverhill (a hypothetical). They're in month 9 of a 12-month website plan, and on a Sunday night they read the terms properly for the first time. One question matters. If I leave, do I own the site?
Yes. After the minimum term we move it into your own Webflow account. We wrote those terms and we set the £250 fee. Read this with that bias in mind. Below: what moves across, what leaving costs, and where leaving is the wrong call. We build from Bury St Edmunds, and our web design in Bury St Edmunds page shows how the plans work.
Yes, once the 12-month minimum is done.
The Webflow build and every page on it. Each plan includes a page for every service in every town, plus schema markup, internal linking, a sitemap and alt text, and all of that sits in the site you take. Webflow is a platform you can run yourself, which is part of why we build on Webflow rather than WordPress.
Hosting and SSL are part of the plan, so once the site is in your account, that account is yours to run and pay for. The monthly ranking report, the ongoing SEO work and content edits on request belong to the plan, so they end when it does. SEO help on a site you own later is by consultation, with no published price.
For the Haverhill firm, that means paying the fee and holding the account themselves.

A one-off £250 on top of the plan fees you've already paid. Staying costs nothing extra.
Check what's included in each plan on the day you read this, because prices change.
The fee is the same on every plan, and it's flat, not a charge per page.
Cheap or dear depends on what a build would cost elsewhere. What a Webflow site costs to build from scratch gives you the one-off figure to compare.
If you don't leave, nothing changes. The plan rolls monthly at the same price. Our client retention is 96%.
If the site works and you'd end up paying someone else for the same page and ranking work, staying costs less.
Say you only serve one town and already rank for it. A plan is the wrong answer for you. If your site works, leave it alone.
Now picture a café in Sudbury with a manager who enjoys editing pages. Moving makes sense there. A two-van plumbing firm with nobody to spare is different, because handing over the keys just creates a job nobody has time for.
Then there's a platform change. If you want to leave Webflow altogether, check what Webflow lets you export before you decide.
Here's the test. Add up the monthly page work, the edits and the ranking report. If that's worth more to you than from £189 a month, stay. If it isn't, move.
Only if you want the site moved. Staying means the plan carries on monthly at the price you signed, with nothing added on top.
No. The price you sign at holds for as long as you stay, with no step up at month 13. After the 12 months you can leave whenever you like.
No. You pay the monthly plan price from the start, with hosting and SEO included. The 12-month minimum is the only commitment.
You do, or whoever you hire. The ranking report, ongoing SEO and edits on request belong to the plan, so they stop when you leave. If you want our help later, SEO on a site you own is by consultation.

Three clauses matter most: who owns the site, whose name is on the domain, and what it costs to move.
Open your current agency or freelancer agreement and find all three. Who owns the build and the content? Whose name is on the domain and on the Webflow or hosting account? Is there a written fee to hand it over? If you can't find the answers, ask in writing before you renew anything. Put the same questions to us.
See the 3 plans. Every plan is priced on the page, from £189 a month with hosting and SEO included.
