Web design in Bury St Edmunds from a Webflow agency: what Starter from £189 a month covers, a 3-year build comparison, and who should skip it.

Starter is from £189 a month, with hosting and SEO included and no build fee. Here's what that buys, how it compares over 3 years, and who shouldn't buy it.
A plumber in Bury St Edmunds sits down on a Thursday evening with two tabs open: a lump-sum agency quote, and a plan for web design in Bury St Edmunds from £189 a month. Neither says plainly what he'd be paying for. He's hypothetical. The confusion isn't.
We sell the second one. FutureProofs is a Webflow agency on King's Road and Starter is our own plan, so read everything below with that bias in front of you. Here's what the money buys, how 3 years compares, and who should walk away.
Starter is a Webflow site with hosting and SSL, and the SEO is built in. You get 6 services across 6 towns. Keyword research comes before anyone writes a word, and each page is written on its own, never a template with the town swapped.
Every plan also includes schema markup, internal linking, a sitemap, image alt text, AI search setup, Google Business Profile work, citations and links. Content edits on request and a monthly ranking report come too.
Extra services are £20 a month each and extra towns £15 a month each, on any plan. If 6 and 6 isn't enough, Business is from £249 a month (9 services, 10 towns) and Market Leader is from £329 a month (12 services, 14 towns).
Take a two-van electrician, hypothetically, covering Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket, Stowmarket, Sudbury, Haverhill and Thetford. Someone searching "emergency electrician Stowmarket" at 9pm wants a page about exactly that, not a services list that mentions the town once in the footer.
That's the thinking behind our Webflow website plans. What local SEO actually involves in Bury St Edmunds goes further.

The starting cost is lower, because there's no build fee. By month 36 the answer hangs on what the lump-sum quote leaves out. We can't give you a market average for one-off builds that we'd stand behind, so that column is yours to fill in from a real quote.
Here's the catch. If you never do anything with SEO and the site just sits there, a one-off build can cost less over 3 years. Weigh that honestly. Ownership differs too: the Webflow account becomes yours only once the 12 months are up and the £250 is paid. The price you signed at holds as long as you stay.
For build costs in general, see our wider guide to Webflow website costs. The tiers are laid out in the 3 plans and what each includes.
One town, already ranking, phone already ringing? Leave your site alone.
Take a one-chair barber in Stowmarket, hypothetically, whose bookings come from Instagram and passing trade. He doesn't need a page per town. A 5-page site does the job.
If it ranks, loads and gets enquiries, a monthly plan adds cost and nothing else.
You can, in Webflow or WordPress. It costs evenings rather than pounds, and it suits a business where most work arrives by word of mouth.
No. You pay the monthly price from day one, on a 12-month minimum. After that it rolls monthly at the price you signed at.
Stay month to month, or leave. Leaving means we move the whole site into your own Webflow account for a one-off £250. It's yours outright.
Yes. Extra services are £20 a month each and extra towns £15 a month each, on every plan including Starter. Adding a lot? Price it against Business, from £249 a month, before you commit.
Nobody can promise that, us included. AI search setup is in every plan and the pages answer real questions. But Google doesn't require llms.txt or special AI schema, and no agency can guarantee a place in AI answers.

Give it 20 minutes. List the services you want work from and the towns you'd cover, then count the combinations. That number shows which tier fits, if any.
Next, take any quote you hold and ask who writes each town page, what hosting costs afterwards, who owns the Webflow account and what happens at month 13. Then open Search Console, go to Performance and the Pages tab, and see which of your pages already get impressions.
Send us your current site and the towns you cover. We'll tell you which pages are missing, even if you never hire us. Start a project.
